2018 China Mobile Global Partner Conference will be held in Guangzhou, on Dec. 6th -8th. With the theme “5G Connects New Era 5G连接新时代”, the event will invite 200 partners and arrange 100+ demo booth in 8 major sectors, target 100K visitors including almost all China Mobile Senior Executives across all departments from HQ and all branches, also the key Influencers for tech adoption such as Telco engineer, Architect etc. As one of the key partners, Intel will have multiple of activities including demo booth, speeches, MOU ceremony, joint lab announcement and close door meetings with China Mobile executives and etc.. 5G Cloud Gaming
Traditional games are rendered on local terminals. Cloud games push games rendered on the cloud to terminal devices. High-end or low-end games can be played on terminals (high-end or low-end terminals) that are connected to the Internet.
Cloud games raise high requirements for delay. It is suitable for cloud games to be deployed on edge networks.
Intel network college
Intel Network Academy is a former network technology training program, aiming to accelerate and support ecosystem network transformation of communication service providers and respond to timely training related to challenge.
Training courses at three different levels are provided:
Level 100 indicates the basic level and covers introductory courses and basic knowledge, including course introduction, telecom cloud, network function virtualization, software-defined network and virtual network function operation.
Courses at level 200 indicate intermediate courses and courses at level 300 indicate advanced courses. It is estimated that the courses will be completed in 2019.

Open uCPE solution
Open uCPE solution is jointly developed by Intel and its partners. The system architecture is based on open-source DPDK and VPP standard software framework, as well as the full series of Intel network white boxes. uCPE is the hardware basis. It is compatible with the standard NFVi architecture. It optimizes network performance, is highly scalable and supports platforms independent of third-party applications (VNF). It can interwork mainstream SD-WAN controllers for remote management and high-performance user mode protocol stacks. It is used to develop standard SD-WAN end-to-end solutions, enable network transformation of enterprises and help digitalization of enterprises.

The combination of the commercial SD-WAN solution with high-performance uCPE brings a brand-new enterprise network connection service management platform and provides cross-domain networking and value-added services. Compared with traditional networking solutions, the solution is more flexible.
uCPE is driven by general devices based on Intel® X86 architecture. The SD-WAN services comes from Versa Networks and can provide customers with zero-contact deployment, flexible networking, intelligent routing, next-generation firewall, UTM and other functions. Low-latency high-throughput IPSec and SSL/TLS with FPGA PAC-acceleration enable 5G core and edge applications
Arrive will show its 80 Gbps online IPSec and 40 Gbps SSL/TLS acceleration software on Intel field programmable gate array (FPGA) and programmable accelerator card (PAC) and targets at 5G core network and edge computing applications, for example, vEPC and vCND. Compared with other acceleration technologies, Arrive’s acceleration software enables operators to meet 5G IPSec security requirements on one server with less consumption of CPU and RAM resources so as to implement high-bandwidth and low-delay solutions.

Visual saliency objects in videos and macro blocks of background are automatically identified through AI, and the quantitative levels of the objects and macro blocks are automatically learned. In this case, the bit rate of the videos is effectively compressed whereas the video quality remains unchanged. The solutions are crucial for reducing the video transmission bandwidth during online live broadcast and for saving CDN operating costs.
Intel® Xeon® processors are widely used in AI and particularly in deep learning applications. Popular deep learning open-source frameworks such as TensorFlow *, Caffe * and MxNet are optimized by Intel software team and can provide the best performance for deep learning training and inference on Intel platform. Edge Computing Platform

Smart Home Camera
eyecloudCam is a battery-driven wireless AI intelligent monitoring camera. Based on the embedded AI technology, eyecloudCam is equipped with an Intel Movidius high-performance AI visual chip. The camera provides safety monitoring levels in three different alarm degrees: motion detection, human shape detection and face recognition, to meet users' requirements in different scenarios. Based on local advantages of the embedded AI technology, all data and functions are completed at the device end and do not need to be uploaded to the cloud. This perfectly avoids potential data privacy risks and data security issues of cloud AI and provides faster response and lower energy consumption. Intel develops a brand-new Intel® AVX-512 instruction set - AVX512_VNNI (vector neural network instructions), also called DL Boot technology, on Intel next-generation Xeon® scalable processor (Cascade Lake) to improve computing performance of deep learning. AVX512_VNNI can complete 8-bit multiplication and 32-bit accumulation (υ8×s8→s32) or 16-bit multiplication and 32-bit accumulation (s16×s16→s32) by running one FMA instruction.
